The Magnificent Trufflepigs: A Romantic Metal-Detecting Adventure on Nintendo Switch

The Magnificent Trufflepigs is a romantic, first-person adventure game developed by Thunkd for Nintendo Switch. The game follows Adam, a compassionate man, who returns to his childhood village of Stanning to help a woman named Beth on her mission to find a local treasure. The game combines laid-back metal detecting and exploration with a strong interpersonal narrative, all set in a beautiful English countryside.

Players will be able to find "treasures" with their detector and dig them up with a large shovel and a small trowel. They will also be able to share photos of their finds with Beth, while chatting with her via walkie-talkie and instant message. As the game progresses, players will unravel a mystery through interesting narrative choices and learn about Beth's hopes and fears, directing the conversation to root out the truth.

The Magnificent Trufflepigs features Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who, DC's Legends of Tomorrow) as Adam and Luci Fish (Safe House, Another Eden) as Beth. The game is developed by the lead designer of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, AMC Games, and SundanceTV.
